BART to Halt All EB to SF Trains for Track Repairs
The aging system will be shut down 24 hours a day for a total of five days.

The track was laid 43 years ago and is reaching the end of its lifetime.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that the shut down will likely take place the first weekend in August and again over Labor Day weekend. Last year, about 100,000 people rode BART into SF on those days.
A bus bridge will be in place running between the stations.
