Board Approves New School On Donlon Property
The design presented for the new school would create two school sites on the 18-acre Donlon property.

PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton Unified School Board of Trustees on Tuesday voted unanimously to move forward with a second school on the Donlon Elementary School property. District officials said the conceptual design presented for the new school would create two school sites on the 18-acre property.
A K-3 school would be housed in the existing facilities and the newly constructed school would be home to grades 4 and 5.
“As we enter the design phase for the new school, there will be additional opportunities for engagement with teachers, parents, students, and the broader community to more fully flesh out what the school instructional programs will look like,” Superintendent David Haglund said in a statement. “This will be an exciting time, as staff collaborate and develop a vision for student learning to submit to the architects for guidance.”
