Books help the children come to get tested for Rheumatic Heart Disease to Save Lives

Books for Children of Samoa

For years, Leslie & Marc Barkdull of Pleasanton, Ca have been helping the children of Samoa overcome Rheumatic Heart disease which is prevalent in the country.

Associated with the BYU effort to eradicate this problem (google: youtube rheumatic heart relief in Samoa), they collect children’s books to encourage children to get tested. They are collecting 10,000 children’s books, many children have no books at home and very few at school.
