Glad to Be Here!

Hey there! I am Dennis Miller, and I am happy to be writing a blog for Pleasanton Patch! In the past, I was the Local Sports Editor for the Tri-Valley Herald, before the Herald was basically taken over by the Contra Costa Times and out went local sports coverage as we knew it.

I have been in Pleasanton with my family since 1967 and am very happy to be able to raise my kids here as well. I am on the Board of Directors for a pair of charity golf tournaments, and have spent time 0n school site councils.

Having grown up in Pleasanton and by raising my kids here as well, I feel I am well qualified to offer my observations and feelings about this wonderful town.

I look forward to getting your feedback on my often candid writings/thoughts about what's going in Pleasanton. Please don't hesitate to fire off questions to me as well!
