Person Killed on BART Tracks at Dublin/Pleasanton Station
Tri-Valley trains are experiencing delays while the investigation is completed.

The West Dublin/Pleasanton BART station remains closed this morning following a death on the tracks, according to a BART spokeswoman.
The West Dublin/Pleasanton station was closed after a 7:15 a.m. report of a person under a train at the station, according to BART spokeswoman Denise Gonzalez. Trains are single-tracking through the station without stopping, causing major delays on the Dublin/Pleasanton line in both directions and 10- to 15-minute delays systemwide, Gonzalez said.

BART police have confirmed the person died, and officials are now waiting for the Alameda County coroner’s bureau to respond to the scene and complete the investigation before restoring service, Gonzalez said.

A person was reported under a train at the West Dublin/Pleasanton BART station this morning, a BART dispatcher said. The incident was reported around 7:30 a.m. and is affecting service on the Dublin/Pleasanton line.
Dublin/Pleasanton-bound trains will turn around at Castro Valley and will not go to the end of the line, the dispatcher said. No information about the person’s condition was immediately available.
