BREAKING: Sig-Alert Issued After Fatal Wreck on I-680
At least one person has died, according to CHP officials.
The California Highway Patrol is responding to a fatal crash involving a water truck on northbound Interstate Highway 680 in Pleasanton this morning. The crash was reported at 6:22 a.m. on Highway 680 just south of Stoneridge Drive.
The crash left all lanes blocked and a Sig-alert was issued at 6:27 a.m. As of 6:41 a.m. one lane had reopened, according to the CHP. At least one victim was killed, and information about other injuries was not immediately available.
