Burger King Traffic Stop Nets Two Pounds of Marijuana Inside Stolen Ride

PLEASANTON, CA — An Oakland man was arrested last week in Pleasanton after officers discovered more than two pounds of marijuana stashed inside a stolen car he was driving, police officials said.

When officers stopped Oakland resident Jovon Jenkins in the Burger King parking lot in Pleasanton on October 19, they discovered the car had allegedly been stolen in Fairfield last month. Police said Jenkins was allegedly found to be in possession of two pounds of marijuana, a scale and other evidence of sales.

Jenkins was arrested on multiple charges and booked in the Santa Rita jail in Dublin.
