About Us

Non-Profit Organizations

Congregation Beth Emek, the “House of the Valley,” is the center of Jewish life in the Tri-Valley, serving Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, San Ramon, Danville, Tracy, and beyond. Beth Emek is a close-knit community with a membership of 240 families. We have a thriving religious and Hebrew school, a Kesher teen program, and an outstanding preschool. We are committed to lifelong learning, community building, and nurturing of Jewish connections.

We believe that Judaism is a source of renewal and a refuge in this fast-paced world. At Beth Emek, Jews meet to study and learn, to celebrate the cycle of the year, and to rejoice in the Sabbath. Affiliated with the Reform movement (see, also, the Union for Reform Judaism), we welcome Jews from every background. We are a diverse group, building an intimate and caring community — a place where Jews can reach out to each other and to God.

We invite you and your family to participate with us and share the special joys of Judaism.
