Jose' Maria Amador Chapter - Daughters of the American Revolution

About Us

Non-Profit Organizations

The Jose’ Maria Amador Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) based in Pleasanton, will participate in the annual Wreaths for Veterans program to honor the people who served our nation. On Saturday, December 13th, chapter members will place wreaths at the Dublin Pioneer Cemetery to pay tribute to veterans interred there.

The Wreaths for Veterans program is part of a nationwide effort to remember the sacrifices of America’s military heroes during the holiday season. Volunteers across the country place evergreen wreaths at cemeteries, symbolizing eternal life and gratitude for service.

“Our chapter is proud to join this meaningful tradition,” said Jill Zollinger, Chapter Regent. “Each wreath is a gesture of remembrance and respect, ensuring that the contributions of our veterans are never forgotten.”

We warmly invite women who share our passion for history, service, and community to join our Chapter—new members are always welcome to be part of our mission.

One of the largest patriotic women’s organizations in the world, DAR has more than 185,000 members in approximately 3,000 chapters across the country and several foreign countries. DAR members promote historic preservation, education and patriotism via commemorative events, scholarships and educational initiatives, citizenship programs, service to veterans, meaningful community service and more
