Indivisible Tri-Valley Youth And Others Rally For May Day.

No Work. No School. No Shopping! Join Indivisible Tri-Valley Youth,

Union members, other community members and local school students in

Pleasanton, Livermore and Dublin, California will join in a coordinated

national event.

Indivisible Tri-Valley will bring 1000 people together for a

demonstration. This action is part of the May Day of Action to support,

“No Work No School No Shopping,” a coordinated nationwide general strike

in support of the Labor Movement. The modern political significance

began in the US, when the Federation of Organized Trades and Labor

Unions proclaimed that 8 hours should constitute a legal day's work from

May 1,1886, and forward.

Bring your signs, noise makers and flags and help us send a message. “No

Work No School No Shopping.” Indivisible Tri-Valley will commemorate

the historic struggles and gains made by workers and the labor movement,

also called International Workers’ Day. "Unions built the middle

class."
