PLEASANTON, CA — After more than two decades of living in Pleasanton and navigating the corporate tech world of the Bay Area, I have traded product roadmaps for music writing and production. Today, I am proud to announce the release of my debut indie album, "Flashes."
From Silicon Valley Tech to Alternative Music
Born and raised in India, I spent years working in the local tech sector while enjoying everything our beautiful community has to offer—from our incredible parks to the bustling events and attractions on Main Street. Transitioning into a contemporary alternative music artist has allowed me to channel those experiences into a brand-new creative journey.
About the Album: "Flashes"
My debut project, "Flashes," is built on empathetic songwriting and an immersive, mood-setting style. The album explores deeply human, universal themes, including:
- The complexities of love and loss
- Social commentary on bigotry
- The power of nature as a healer
Key Focus Tracks to Stream First
If you are new to my music, I recommend starting with these five tracks that best capture the spirit of the songwriting on the album:
- "Lay Down Your Head": A song showcasing immersive storytelling and rich melody.
- "Jake's Lament": A powerful piece on finding a way forward through life's deepest dysfunctions.
- "The Song of Thunder Water": This track deeply explores the theme of nature as a healer.
- "Redemption": A powerful piece focused on navigating life's structural shifts.
- "Soothsayer": A powerful piece focused on the irrationality of bigotry and discrimination.
