The Friends of the Pleasanton Library invite the community to their popular Fall Book and Media Sale, returning to the Pleasanton Public Library September 16–19.
Whether you're searching for your next great read, children's books, movies, music, games, or puzzles, you'll find thousands of gently used treasures at bargain prices. With new items donated throughout the year, every sale offers fresh discoveries for readers, collectors, students, teachers, and families.
More than just a great shopping event, every purchase helps strengthen our community. The Friends' spring sale raised $17,000 to support library programs, special events, and resources that enrich the lives of Pleasanton residents of all ages.
Sale Hours
Wednesday, September 16
- 10:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. — Members' Early Access
- 1:00–7:00 p.m. — Open to the Public
Thursday and Friday, September 17–18
- 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. — Open to Everyone
Saturday, September 19
- 9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. — Final Shopping Hours
- 1:00–3:00 p.m. — Fill-a-Bag Sale ($10 per bag; bags provided)
