PLEASANTON, CA — A San Lorenzo man was arrested after a camera was found in a store fitting room at the Stoneridge Shopping Center in Pleasanton Friday afternoon, police officials said. The recording device was allegedly found hidden in a changing room inside the Hollister Company.
Police said at least one female customer was recorded while she tried on clothing. Store employees detained a man, later identified as 45-year-old Juan Jose Martinez-Leyva, who was allegedly spotted leaving a nearby changing room and was found to be in possession of recording devices containing footage of the victim, according to police.
Martinez-Leyva was arrested on suspicion of invasion of privacy and was booked at the Santa Rita County Jail in Dublin. Anyone with information is asked to call the Pleasanton Police Department.
