Car Caravan Protest Planned In Pleasanton This Weekend
Protesters will stay in their cars to promote social distancing, according to a flyer circulated for the event.
PLEASANTON, CA — A caravan in support of protests related to George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement is slated to move through Pleasanton beginning at 4 p.m. Sunday.
The car caravan protest will start at the United States Postal Service office at 4300 Black Ave., proceed southbound on Santa Rita Road, westbound on Bernal Avenue, northbound on Valley Avenue, then eastbound to return to the post office, according to a flyer circulated online.
Demonstrators seek to maintain social distancing.
