Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Crash On Dublin Canyon Road

PLEASANTON, CA — A motorcyclist was seriously injured Friday evening when he struck a power pole in Pleasanton, police officials said. Emergency crews found the rider unconscious near Dublin Canyon Road and Laurel Creek Drive. He was taken by ambulance to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley.

No other vehicles were involved in the wreck, which was reported on at 4:49 p.m., according to police. Drivers were asked to avoid the area of Dublin Canyon and Foothill roads for several hours.
