CERT Training Open To Livermore & Pleasanton Residents
Registration is open for the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department's free course on disaster preparedness, fire safety, and more.
PLEASANTON, CA — The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department is hosting a six-week Community Emergency Response Team Training on Wednesday evenings from March 18 to April 22.
Community members have the opportunity to learn disaster preparedness, fire safety, disaster medical response, disaster psychology, terrorism, light search and rescue, and more. At the end of the course, participants will take part in an LPFD and CERT drill to put what they learned into practice.
The courses are free and open to anyone 16 or older who lives and/or works in Livermore or Pleasanton. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Class sizes are limited to 40.

Courses will take place Wednesday evenings from 6-9 p.m., with one class on Saturday, March 28 from 9-4:30. Courses are held at the LPFD training grounds on Busch Road in Pleasanton.
