Announcement from Pleasanton Police:

The Pleasanton Police Department is proud to announce the integration of crime mapping to its website (PleasantonPD.org). The service, CrimeReports, provides current statistical data on an interactive map of the Pleasanton area. Statistics are provided by the Pleasanton Police Department and are updated several times per week. Nearly every crime type is captured on the crime mapping service, including but not limited to property crimes, crimes against persons, Megan’s Law registrants, animal service calls and traffic enforcement.

Users may search these crime statistics in multiple ways including by date, area and crime type. Those interested in receiving updates can do by selecting the “Create Alert/Update” option on the crime map. The CrimeReports™ mapping feature is available beginning today by visiting www.PleasantonPD.org and clicking the “Crime Mapping” option.
