PLEASANTON, CA — Porch pirates are particularly active during the holiday season, as gifts and packages arrive on doorsteps. But the Pleasanton Police Department said there are many things residents can do to prevent becoming a target.

On Nov. 12, from 6:30-8 p.m., residents are invited to a free workshop at Pleasanton Senior Center hosted by Pleasanton PD's Criminal Investigations Unit.
