Commuter Alert: I-680 Connector Ramp Reopens Following Flooding

At 1:35 a.m. a Sig-alert was issued following a night of almost continuous rain.

PLEASANTON, CA- The southbound Interstate Highway 680 connector ramp to eastbound Interstate Highway 580 in Pleasanton has reopened this morning, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatcher. At 1:35 a.m. a Sig-alert was first issued for the connector ramp closing it due to flooding, CHP officials said.

CHP officials initially received a report of the flooding, at 12:57 a.m., according to CHP officials.

California Highway Patrol officials have temporarily shut down a highway connector ramp this morning in Pleasanton due to flooding. At 1:35 a.m. a Sig-alert was issued for the southbound Interstate Highway 680 connector ramp to eastbound Interstate Highway 580, CHP officials said.

At 12:57 a.m. CHP officials first received a report of the flooding, according to CHP officials. The CHP did not give an estimated time for when the connector ramp would reopen.
