Congratulations, Anirudh Murugesan, Foothill High School Class Of 2021

PLEASANTON, CA — The high school seniors of 2021 have had an experience like no other in a century — a year upended by a pandemic and by lockdowns that kept them from enjoying many of the activities that previous seniors have taken for granted.

Patch hopes to help make it up to those seniors by giving them a special sendoff. We asked parents and other family members to pay tribute to this year’s grads using a special submission form so we can publish those tributes one by one.

Foothill Highschool student Anirudh Murugesan will graduate this year.

Plans after graduation: Pursuing college to study cognitive science and artificial intelligence.

Accomplishments: A passionate basketball player, varsity team captain, hardworking and conscientious student with excellent grades, ethical community volunteer who co-led a donation drive for athletes in under served communities, caring brother, and a loving son.

Special message: Anirudh, Our hearts swell with pride and gratitude to see the caring, kind, compassionate, hardworking, and ethical young man you have become. Be grateful and cherish your blessings, and always remember to pay forward. We love you. Congratulations!!!
