Construction of New Chick-fil-A Restaurant Underway

The popular eatery will soon open in Pleasanton.

PLEASANTON, CA — The first Chick-fil-A restaurant, known for its chicken, fresh lemonade and waffle fries, will open in Tri-Valley later this year, Chick-Fil-A representatives said. Construction of the new Pleasanton business is starting to take shape as anticipation among locals mounts.

Not many details are currently available, although a Chick-fil-A spokesperson confirmed the popular chicken sandwich purveyors will likely open sometime around October. Representatives say every Chick-fil-A eatery is different, but each location typically creates about 80 to 100 full- and part-time jobs in the community.

The company believes in sustainability, including recycling, responsible building and using healthier food ingredients, according to its website. The roughly 5,000-square-foot restaurant will be located off of Johnson Court. Chick-fil-A has locations in Fremont, San Jose and Walnut Creek.
