Foothill Road In Pleasanton Reopens Following Crash
Drivers were asked to avoid the area for several hours after a car hit a power pole.
PLEASANTON, CA — Foothill Road in Pleasanton has reopened after being shut down for several hours after a car crashed into a power pole Monday morning, officials said in a news alert.
No one was injured in the crash, according to Alameda County officials. Drivers were asked to avoid the area while Pacific Gas & Electric crews worked to repair the damage.
The wreck was reported near Racoon Hollow Court and Foothill Road at 9:20 a.m., according to the Pulsepoint phone application.

Pacific Gas & Electric reported on their outage map that electricity in the area was knocked out at 9:16 a.m. and as of 11:45 a.m., the power was still out for about 200 hundred customers along Foothill Road between Racoon Hollow Court and Bernal Avenue. The power was restored by about 2 a.m. Tuesday, according to PG&E.
