District Hosts Events For Parents Of Incoming Kindergarteners
Five informational meetings will be held in January.
From PUSD: The Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD) invites parents and guardians of incoming transitional kindergarten (TK) and kindergarten (K) for the 2019-2020 school year to attend one of five upcoming information events.
The first of five informational meetings will be held on January 17, 2019, 6 - 7 p.m. in the Donlon Elementary Multi-purpose room. The second meeting will be held on January 22, 6 - 7 p.m. in the Hearst Elementary Multi-purpose room. The third meeting, which will be presented in English and Spanish, will be held on January 23, 6 - 7 p.m. in the Valley View Elementary Multi-purpose room.
The final two sessions will be held on January 24, 9 - 10 a.m. with Mandarin translation available, and 10:15 - 11: 15 a.m. with Korean translation available. Both January 24 sessions will be held in the District Office Board Room located at 4665 Bernal Avenue in Pleasanton. The informational meetings will include an overview of the Pleasanton Unified School District, the Pleasanton Partnerships in Education foundation (PPIE), what to expect in TK and Kindergarten, information about the District’s dual immersion program, available onsite after-school child care through Kids Club, as well as information about our Health Services, requirements and enrollment procedures.

The District will also be hosting neighborhood registration events at elementary school sites beginning in February.
