Dramatic Water Drop Doused Pleasanton Grass Fire: Watch
Livermore-Pleasanton Fire crews worked quickly to extinguish the flames before they could spread out of control.
PLEASANTON, CA — As fire season ramps up statewide, firefighters in Pleasanton acted quickly to contain and extinguish a vegetation fire reported Wednesday afternoon. Cal Fire Sunol joined Livermore-Pleasanton Fire crews to battle the blaze burning between homes and the arroyo near Lagoon Road. The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department shared video of the firefighting efforts via social media.
Thousands of firefighters, including many from the East Bay, have been deployed across the state to help battle the 14 large wildfires burning in California.
