Driver Hits 2 Houses After Suffering From Pedal Confusion
Police said the driver became "flustered" after hitting her own home.
PLEASANTON, CA — An elderly driver who hit two houses last weekend likely suffered from pedal confusion, police officials said. The crash was reported in the 5000 block of San Antonio Ct. on Saturday evening.
Police said the accidentally driver backed through her driveway and into her own house before becoming “flustered” and accelerating into her neighbor’s home. Police do not believe drugs or alcohol were a factor.
Livermore-Pleasanton Fire crews responded to assist following the crash.
No one was injured during the incident. No other information is available.
