Duo Accused Of Possessing Drugs For Sale Arrested In Pleasanton
Police said they found a stash of methamphetamine, heroin and prescription medication while searching the car.

PLEASANTON, CA — Two people were arrested in Pleasanton this week after police allegedly discovered a stash of heroin, methamphetamine and prescription medication during a traffic stop. After stopping the car to investigate an allegedly altered license plate, the officer found large amounts of each drug as well as drug paraphernalia and a handicap placard, police said.
Police arrested 32-year-old San Jose resident Amber Olvera and 44-year-old Milpitas resident Jason Kaczanowski, who were both in the car at the time of the stop. Olvera and Kaczanowski were booked into the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin. Olvera is being held without bail. The two are due to be arraigned in Dublin Thursday afternoon.
