For his Eagle Scout project, he built and installed two Picnic tables along with benches in the garden area of Val Vista Park

Rohan Raina has qualified to become an Eagle Scout and will receive the award at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor to be held in October 6, 2024. Rohan is the son of Rajashri Setlur & Rajneesh Raina of Pleasanton, Ca. He is a member of Troop 998, sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #6298. Thanks go to his Scoutmaster, Clayton Carroll, for his dedication to scouting and help along the way.

Rohan has been active in Scouting and has held leadership positions as Patrol Leader, Webmaster and the Senior Patrol Leader of his troop. His favorite part about scouting is the sense of community, participating in service projects and camping outdoors which scouting offers though their outdoor and summer programs.

For his Eagle Scout project, he built and installed two Picnic tables along with benches in the garden area of Val Vista Park. Rohan worked with Zack Silva , Recreation Supervisor of the City of Pleasanton. These tables are of great help to the citizens of Pleasanton who come to enjoy the garden area at Val Vista Park. His project team consisted of 7 people working about 60 hours over several weeks.
