Eagle Scout Raises Funds for Special Needs Students

Sensory walls to benefit special needs students at John Green Elementary School.

Atharva Sharma recently qualified to become an Eagle Scout. He is a member Troop 941 in the Twin Valley District.

For his Eagle Scout project, he created sensory walls to benefit special needs students at John Green Elementary School. These sensory walls were designed to enhance the learning environment by incorporating tactile and interactive elements that stimulated the students' senses, making engaging and participating in classroom activities easier.

The walls feature a variety of textures, shapes, and colors, all carefully selected to address the unique needs of students with sensory processing challenges.
