Girls Night Out Networking to partner with PLEASANTON MILITARY FAMILIES at May horse racing mixer

Imagine, if you will, 100+ women from the Tri Valley coming together in one room, to network and socialize with the goal of increasing their business awareness and sales in an informal and fun setting.

This is the scene at GNON – Girls Night Out Networking; the all-women networking group in the Tri Valley.

GNON, founded by Frances Hewitt of FHI Marketing Consultants, was formed in 2008 after a request was made to start an informal, monthly, after-work get together of women in the Tri-Valley.

GNON, which is getting ready to celebrate its 4 year anniversary in June, will be hosting a Community Outreach project by doing a special drive for Pleasanton Military Families.  Frances Hewitt, GNON Founder, is excited to hold this outreach project.

She states, “I am proud and thankful of our troops so what a great way to show our appreciation!” “In addition, for this special occasion of honoring our troops, we are opening up this particular GNON event to MEN and WOMEN…..ALL ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!”

Pleasanton Military Families (PMF) is a support group for family and friends of our local military men and women. Founded in 2003, at the beginning of the Global War on Terror, there was a need for an outlet to talk about our children, husbands, wives, and friends fighting this war.  PMF believes in sending letters, cards, boxes filled with food and personal supplies reminds our deployed military that they have not been forgotten, and that they are loved and supported from those at home.

During PMF “pack-outs” multiple care packages are sent out three times a year to approximately 30 individuals from our local area.  GNON will be collecting goods for the Care Packages project at the May 18th mixer to be held at the Pleasanton Satellite Wagering Facility, at the Alameda County Fairgrounds, 4501 Pleasanton Avenue.
