PLEASANTON, CA — The California Peace Officers Association invites the community to honor police officers and other first responders who’ve lost their lives in the line of duty during the 11th Annual Run to Remember at Shadow Cliffs Regional Park. The 10K Run & 5K Run/Walk will be held May 19 and will salute those who have given the ultimate sacrifice, along with the families and co-workers left behind to cope with the tragic loss.
All proceeds from this family oriented event will go directly to the Concerns of Police Survivors (California Chapter), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to assist surviving family members and affected coworkers of fallen law enforcement officers.
The event’s 10K & 5K walk and run courses are made up of small rolling-hill trails that traverse through the scenic park. A 1-mile Kids' Fun Run will also take place in a portion of the park’s lawn area.
