Man Dies In Pleasanton Stabbing; No Suspects Identified
Police believe the victim was stabbed Wednesday after a confrontation in the parking lot.
PLEASANTON, CA — A man was stabbed multiple times Wednesday night in Pleasanton, was found at the Hyatt House Hotel and died later at Eden Hospital in Castro Valley, the Pleasanton Police Department announced Thursday morning.
The victim has not been named as police try to contact family to notify them of their relative's passing.
Police arrived to the hotel at 4545 Chabot Drive around 8:20 p.m. after receiving a report of a man suffering from stab wounds. Officers found the man and rendered aid until they could be taken to the hospital.

Officers investigated and found the man was confronted by multiple people in a parking lot in the vicinity of the Hyatt House Hotel and the Extended Stay hotel next door, police said. He was stabbed after an altercation.
There are currently no suspect leads.

Officers believe the attack was isolated and they are continuing to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 925-931-5100.
