Fire At Pleasanton Transfer Station Extinguished
The blaze was reported late Monday night.
PLEASANTON, CA — Firefighters extinguished a fire inside the Pleasanton transfer station late Monday night. The blaze was reported at 3110 Busch Rd. inside the Pleasanton Garbage Service warehouse just before 11 p.m., according to the Pulsepoint phone application.
Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department crews discovered a large pile of trash burning inside the transfer station. The blaze was extinguished within about 30 minutes and firefighters used heavy equipment to break up the burning piles.
The exact cause of the fire is not known. No one was injured during the blaze.
