Foothill Cheer Squads Win Spirit State Championship
Teams will head to national competition in March.
The Varsity and Junior Varsity Foothill High School cheer squads took the first place at the United Spirit Association California State Championship competition on Feb. 6 at University of California, Davis.
The junior varsity team competed in the intermediate division, while the varsity show cheer team took the advanced divisions. The teams will now head to Anaheim in March for the national competition.
