Forget the Drive - Fly to Tahoe!

Southwest Airlines is adding flights to Reno-Tahoe and St. Louis. And the fares are enticing.

Oakland International Airport will have flights to two new destinations starting next summer, airport officials announced Tuesday.

Flights on Southwest Airlines planes to the Reno-Tahoe International Airport in Nevada or the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport in Missouri begin on June 5, according to airport officials.

Flights to Reno-Tahoe will take 50 minutes and run as low as $49, while tickets to St. Louis for a flight lasting three hours and 40 minutes will start at $149, airport officials said.
