Forkful, Amador Valley Centennial Planned In Pleasanton
Enjoy "forkfuls" from Pleasanton's best restaurants, and celebrate 100 years of Amador Valley High School.

PLEASANTON, CA — From pancakes to pizza, Pleasanton is in for a tasty weekend.
The city will host its annual Forkful celebration Saturday from 3-5 p.m., when downtown restaurants will offer guests a “forkful” of food. Each guest will receive a commemorative fork to use throughout the evening, and a list of participating restaurants.
After guests are done with each restaurant, they can vote for their favorite. The restaurant with the most votes will be named Forkful’s 2023 Best Bite, and be awarded the Golden Fork.

Participating restaurants include:
- Neighborhood Sports Bar
- Sidetrack Bar + Grill
- Beer Baron Kitchen, Oyo
- Zachary's Chicago Pizza
- Oasis Wine Bar and Lounge
- Experience Burma
- Strizzi's
- Nonni's
- Cellar Door
- Pairings Wine Bar
- Bocado Bistro

That’s only one of several fun events planned this weekend in Pleasanton, where a whole series of events are taking place Saturday to celebrate the centennial anniversary of Amador Valley High School:
- Centennial Pancake Breakfast with Amador Friends of Music: From 8:30-11 a.m., celebrate AVHS teachers and staff with a pancake breakfast from Amador Friends of Music. Tickets required.
- Meet Up in the Park: Enjoy picnics at Lions-Wayside and Delucchi parks.
