Free for Residents: Pleasanton Opens Sandbag Stations
The city has expanded this service to residents with three stations to better accommodate the rainy season.

The City of Pleasanton, through its Operations Service Center, has opened three Sandbag Stations this year in anticipation of the rainy season and coming storms.
“We’re all crossing our fingers for enough rain to help us recover from this historic drought,” said Kathleen Yurchak, Interim Director for Operations Services in Pleasanton, adding “but we also want everyone to be properly prepared by having not just one, but three sandbag stations available.”
With the rainy season coming any day now, the City wants to remind residents and businesses of this FREE service for those who might have flooding concerns.
