Funds From Pink Police Patches Will Benefit Tri-Valley Cancer Patients

The funds will be donated to the Pleasanton-based Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation.

SAN RAMON, CA — The San Ramon Police Department invites the community to purchase their commemorative pink police patches to help support a great cause. The police department has partnered with the 2017 Pink Patch Project to help raise breast cancer awareness and provide support to those battling cancer.

The funds will be donated to the Pleasanton-based Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation, which offers complimentary healing services like massage and acupuncture to cancer patients all over the East Bay.

San Ramon joins many other police departments and public safety agencies across the nation participating in the annual public awareness campaign. The patches will be available at the police department for $10 while supplies last.
