Garrison Scores 6, Las Positas Women Roll

Livermore High graduate Caitlyn Garrison notched a rare double hat trick with six goals as the Las Positas women’s soccer team routed Marin 13-0 on Tuesday.
Garrison, a freshman forward, has amassed 10 goals and four assists for 24 points.

Goalkeeper Dariana Mihalache (College Park) earned her fifth shutout of the season.
The Hawks improved to 6-0-0 in nonconference play. Las Positas is ranked No. 2 in the state and No. 18 nationally.

Men’s soccer
The Las Positas men’s team (5-1-0) also blanked Marin 3-0. Jose Beccera (Tracy), Tyler Martinez (San Ramon Valley) and Saul Gutierrez (Tracy) all scored.

Owen Svantner (Dublin) had two assists and Gutierrez had one
Garrett Aslup (Amador Valley) earned the shutout.
