Got Bras?

How one group is giving Tri-Valley neighborhoods a lift and a laugh while raising money and awareness for breast cancer.

If you think you have seen bras in your neighbors' front yards lately, you are not losing your mind, nor are you alone.

One of the recent sightings this past weekend was in a Pleasanton neighborhood south of Foothill High School.

Neighbors woke up to a yard full of colorful bras and a sign that read, “You’ve Been Boobie Trapped For Breast Cancer.”

The bras and sign stayed up all day and were removed by the trappers that evening.

According to the Boobie Trappers, they have been Boobie Trapping in the Tri-Valley since October of 2011 and have raised more than $1,626.

Their goal is to raise $6,900 so each Boobie Trapper can walk in the Susan G Komen 3-day 2012.

They have four people boobie trapping and average about three trappings per week.

Anyone can donate to arrange for a friend, neighbor or family member to be Boobie Trapped. The trappers will trap most addresses in Pleasanton, Livermore or Dublin.

The donations go to the Susan G Komen 3-day fund. Contact: boobietrapped4@gmail.com or call 925-454-0094.
