Holiday Shoppers Urged To Use Caution: Pleasanton PD

After uncovering a car full of suspected stolen items, Pleasanton Police ask people to be vigilant while doing holiday shopping.

PLEASANTON, CA — Though Pleasanton Police Department officers will be patrolling the mall and shopping centers, police ask people to be vigilant while shopping after uncovering a trunk full of suspected stolen goods, including a bucket of baseballs and other items.

"You never know who else might be watching!" the police department said in a Facebook post.

People may be distracted by cell phones, and leave their belongings in the open or forget to pay attention to their surroundings.
