I-580 Brush Fire Extinguished
BREAKING: The small blaze slowed commuter traffic along the busy highway.
PLEASANTON, CA — A small vegetation fire that started on westbound I-580 near I-680 in Pleasanton has been extinguished this afternoon, fire officials said. The small blaze, which was reported at 1:16 p.m., slowed westbound commuter traffic along the busy highway.
Livermore-Pleasanton Fire and Alameda County Fire crews responded and quickly knocked down the blaze. County officials said the fire contained to less than an acre and no one was injured during the incident.
