Indian Dance School performing at SFIAF 2018!!
A local Indian Classical Dance School will be performing in this year's San Francisco International Arts Festival at the Cowell Theater!!
Ushanjali School of Dance, a Tri Valley based premier Indian Classical Dance Academy will be performing in this year's San Francisco International Arts Festival at the Cowell Theater in Historic Fort Mason Center for Arts and Culture on June 3rd, from 2.00-3.00pm.
The performance titled "Divine Conversations - A journey into the Self", will explore various compositions of Saints and Mystics from India set against the backdrop of Martin Luther Kind Jr.'s controversial speech on the Vietnam War, Down by the Riverside!
We have arrived once again today, at the crossroads of war vs peace, good vs evil, black vs white, you vs I. Maybe these differences had never really been eliminated, just brushed under the rug, simmering quietly waiting to erupt. It is at such times, when everything becomes truly unbearable, that we should hold on to hope more strongly than ever before! When the idols we pray to don't answer, when the leaders we choose don't lead us, and when our fellow travelers are clueless of the direction to take, we must look within ourselves. For in us lies the strength to Love!
