Kaiser Permanente Proud to Support Little League Intermediate World Series

Stop by the Kaiser Permanente booth during the week-long event.

The crack of the bat and sounds of cheers and applause return to Livermore this week as the 2014 Little League Intermediate World Series gets underway. And Kaiser Permanente’s Diablo Area is proud to be the premier sponsor for the event.

As part of the festivities, be sure to visit the Kaiser Permanente booth at Max Baer Park on game days.

There will be a misting station to help keep fans cool, sports-medicine related information to encourage healthy and safe physical activity and fun giveaways like limited edition Kaiser Permanente trading pins, rally towels and sunscreen.

On Saturday and Sunday, check out the Sports Jam activity area and win a stress ball by throwing a strike at the Kaiser Katch.

And all week long, snap a fun selfie at the Kaiser Permanente booth and enter via Twitter to win a cooling towel.

“We are so excited to welcome all the young players and their families to Livermore,” said Kareen Knowles, associate medical group administrator for Kaiser Permanente. “As a healthcare leader, we believe in health and creating healthy communities. This is a great event that encourages not only physical fitness but teamwork and fun. We congratulate all the players and wish them success.”


This year’s Little League Intermediate World Series is expected to attract an estimated 40,000 people to more than 20 games beginning July 29 culminating with the televised championship game on August 4, 2014.
