Lanes Reopen Following Injury Crash I-580, I-680 Connector

A car roof temporarily blocked the traffic lanes.

PLEASANTON, CA — All lanes have reopened following an injury crash on the westbound Interstate 580 to southbound Interstate 680 connector in Tri-Valley this morning. The collision was reported just after 11 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP issued a Sig-alert at 11:31 a.m. while crews moved a car roof from the traffic lanes. Traffic backed up to San Ramon. The alert has since been canceled and lanes have reopened. Drivers were experiencing residual delays just before noon. No other information is available.
