LDS Announce New Stake Presidency
The Pleasanton California Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced a change in the Stake Presidency this week.

The Pleasanton California Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced a change in the Stake Presidency this week. The Pleasanton Stake is comprised of six Mormon congregations in the cities of Pleasanton and Dublin. After nearly ten years of service in the stake presidency, Kendall J. Cooper, President and Bruce D. Bird, 1st Counselor were released. They received an expression of gratitude for their faithful service from the nearly 1,000 members in attendance.
The Pleasanton California Stake will now be guided by President Jeremy McFadden with Richard Hair as 1st Counselor and Alexander Tang as 2nd Counselor. Jeremy McFadden is the Vice President of Finance at Halt Medical, is married to Rebecca McFadden and they have five children. Richard Hair is an Account Executive with Dell, Inc. He and his wife Christy are the parents of four children. Alexander Tang is a Senior Technical Leader with Cisco Systems, Inc., is married to Sonia Tang and they are the parents of four children. The church operates with a lay ministry and all of its local members serve each other without pay.
President McFadden and his counselors, with the support of their wives and children, will lead six congregations totaling more than 2,100 members and help them increase their commitment to our Savior Jesus Christ, strengthen their families and serve their fellowmen.
