Little League Opening Day Will Not Be Rescheduled
Officials with Pleasanton Foothill LL say the delay will allow parents additional time to register their players to participate this season.
PLEASANTON, CA: The barrage of storms last weekend rained out both the opening day ceremonies and first games of the 2016 little league season in Pleasanton.
Pleasanton Foothill Little League officials say they will not be rescheduling the opening day ceremony this year. While the soggy fields and canceled games may have damped the spirits of the players, the delay has allowed time for a few new players to join the league.
