Jesus Castro-Leon is accused of recording a woman into the bathroom of the 99 Ranch in Pleasanton and attacking her.

PLEASANTON, CA — A Livermore man is charged with two misdemeanors in connection with sexually assaulting a woman from an adjacent bathroom stall in Pleasanton while he was trying to film her, according to reports from the Bay Area News Group and KTVU.

Jesus Castro-Leon, 26, is accused of following a woman into the bathroom of the 99 Ranch grocery store in Pleasanton, reaching under the stall to film her with his phone, and attacking her while her pants were down, according to court records obtained by the Bay Area News Group. Castro-Leon allegedly touched her genitals and scratched her leg, according to records.

Last January, Castro-Leon came into the Pleasanton Police Department to turn himself in, but refused to be interviewed, according to prosecutors. Police searched his phone and say they found more than 250 videos of Castro-Leon following women around stores.
