Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighters Donate $5,000 to Burn Foundation

The money will be used for burn prevention, support services and programs.

PLEASANTON, CA — Firefighters with the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department donated $5,000 to the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation as part of the East Bay Burn Relay this week.

“This money supports causes like the Little Heroes Preschool Burn Camp that takes place this week,” fire officials said.

Many fire departments in the East Bay participated in the donation relay event including the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department, Sprinkler Fitters Local 483, Alameda County Fire Department, Alameda City Fire Department, Berkeley Fire Department, Albany Fire Department and the Moraga-Orinda Fire Department.

The Pasadena-based nonprofit was established to offer burn prevention and support services throughout California.
