Make a Difference Festival has Service Opportunities for Youth

Over 40 nonprofits who operate in the Tri-Valley will have displays at the "Make a Difference" Festival

The annual festival will be held at the Pleasanton Senior Center this Saturday, Jan 13, 2024, from 10am to 2pm. Many of these will have service opportunities for high school students.

Volunteering for the Festival:

There are even opportunities for youth to volunteer at the festival, including setup on Friday afternoon and helping on Saturday with the registration, lunch, setup and helping with the displays. To register for volunteering at the festival, the signup genius link is: www.bit.ly/2024festival

Service Opportunities at the Festival:

High school students can earn up to 4 hours of service time with these activities.

(1) Tying fleece blankets for the homeless

(2) Making greeting cards for our local military (for Pleasanton Military Families)

(3) Sorting Crayons for "The Crayon Initiative", for children in hospitals.

The public is invited to this free festival featuring Community Service through volunteering, Emergency preparedness and Wellness.
