Make A Difference For Pleasanton Festival Is Back In-Person

PLEASANTON, CA — If one of your New Year’s Resolutions is to give back to the community, you’re in luck. On Saturday, Jan. 14, the Make A Difference for Pleasanton Festival will showcase all the ways you can volunteer in Pleasanton. The festival will be in person for the first time since before the pandemic.

Dozens of nonprofits will have informational tables set up at the festival, which will take place at the Pleasanton Senior Center from 10-2. Exhibitors include Open Heart Kitchen, Pleasanton North Rotary, NAMI Tri-Valley, JustServe, and many more. See here for a full list of 2023 exhibitors.

The festival will also feature booths on emergency preparedness, which will teach valuable skills like how to prepare a 72-hour survival kit, store water, protect important documents, and prepare for earthquakes.

Visitors will be encouraged to sign a “50/50 Pledge” promising that in 2023, they will spend at least 50 hours doing community service, and 50 more hours with their family.
